We wish to draw your attention to an upcoming conference on The Economics of Two-Sided Markets, the topic of the first paper in the current issue. The conference is organized by the Centre for Economic Policy (CEPR) and Institut D'Economie Industrielle (IDEI) and is to be held on January 23rd and 24th, 2004 in Toulouse, France
Submissions of theory, empirical and policy-oriented papers on topics related to the economics of two-sided markets and payment networks are welcomed. The primary focus is on academic research but there will also be some panel sessions with industry experts and regulators.
